I have had panic and anxiety for years and years. I have received so much help and encouragement from Rick in the last 5 sessions. Thank you for this wonderful aid to health and wellbeing, it has been a lifesaver for me over the last year, literally. Over the last three years I nursed my, unfortunately at times, abusive NPD-partner through his terminal cancer. Many friends advised leaving him, as the emotional cruelty was at times unbearable, but my Buddhist learning just could not let me walk away from a dying man. The Foundations program was a strong, warm, unwavering light through all this. After many years of practice at Spirit Rock and the SF Zen Center, I'm finally getting some "concrete", usable advice. When I started this journey way back in January I was in a very desperate place looking for something to grab a hold of to really change my life situation. I had experienced so much trauma over the past 4 years and was really struggling. I chose to really embrace what was being offered and just keep chipping away at stuff.
